Acclaimed interior designer joins forces with Lissett

Lissett Homes will be taking two completely unique lodges to this years’ Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan Show, one of which is the result of an exciting partnership with a renowned English interior designer and TV presenter.

Linda Barker has been working very closely with Lissett to exclusively design create a brand-new lodge. Always looking to build on their reputation for well-planned and high-quality interiors, Lissett homes was drawn to Linda’s ‘practical prestige’ style of design.

Linda explains “It was clear straight from the start of my first factory tour at Lissett that this company don’t just make lodges they make homes. They make spaces that people can enjoy for a weekend or a decade. Its’s exactly the philosophy I have for my private clients – design a wonderful space, that works in the best possible way, and then build it to last. I’m very much looking forward to seeing just how far we can push the interior design opportunities at Lissett”

A home fit for purpose

The new lodge will be launched at the Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan show before being relocated to one of the most sought-after locations and developments in the whole of the UK; Coast View in Shaldon, South Devon.

Richard Moore Lissett’s Sales and Marketing Director explains that he knew he would not only need a high end, exclusive park, but one that would trust Lissett to build a luxury lodge almost completely blind. “I picked up the phone to Josh Donald, the owner of South West Holiday Parks, and he instantly agreed with me that a truly exclusive and unique lodge designed by an interior designer at the top of her game would go hand in hand with his park Coast View in Shaldon.

“Without doubt one of the most exciting and exclusive developments in the UK, Coast View has everything you need from a lodge development. The views overlooking the sea are sensational and the professionalism and quality of everyone within the organisation makes it not only easy to work with South West Holidays on a supplier basis but means they handle the customer in a professional and courteous manner when discussing potential sales opportunities,” concluded Richard.

Josh says that accepting Lissett’s offer was a simple choice, “Justin, Richard and the entire Lissett team have been supplying bespoke holiday lodges of the highest calibre to us for many years now, with many of our owners specifically requesting a Lissett lodge over any other supplier.

“The opportunity to work with the Lissett team and Linda Barker on a completely new, ground-breaking lodge was too good to miss. We are all about pushing boundaries and our desire is to offer our customers something they simply cannot get anywhere else and this is the perfect opportunity to do just that.”

Lissett are keeping tight lipped about both lodges until the show but have released an artists image of how the Linda Barker inspired lodge will look at Coast view to give a sneak preview.

Lissett will be launching both their new lodges at the Cottingham Parks Lodge and Caravan show on Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th September and on these dates are working in conjunction with the Danish company Morsoe who manufacture a range of exciting products including outdoor stoves and they will be cooking up a few nibbles as trade customers look around two absolutely fabulous lodges and they will also be on hand to discuss any enquires. They will also be present during the public days of the 8th and 9th September

It really is all change at Lissett as they also will be launching a brand new website at the end of August which will significantly improve communication with the general public and the trade as they go into the 2019 season!!!!!
